Free services
Tubi, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel and Plex stream films free with adverts. Your local library card can also unlock Kanopy and Hoopla.
Finding the free option
After you tap Watch now and pick your country, any free service appears in the list next to the subscription and rental choices.
Trials
Many subscription services open with a free trial, which is a handy way to catch up on a series like Reacher or Loki.
